As Blues, Brews & BBQ festival winds down at 6:00pm, the party is just getting started! Follow MJs Brass Boppers in a joyful street procession to the newly renamed Webster Park (1435 Webster Street).
Kids can join the fun by playing the instruments they created in the Family Zone, and everyone’s invited to dance and celebrate as we bring the festival’s energy down Webster Street.
Why the new park name?
What began as The Healing Garden during the pandemic — a temporary outdoor refuge where neighbors could safely gather — has since blossomed into a true community hub. Over the years, it has hosted live music, wellness events, Shakespeare performances, markets, and countless celebrations. To honor that evolution and its role at the heart of West Alameda, the space has officially been renamed Webster Park — a name that reflects both its central location and its future as a vibrant, welcoming gathering place for everyone.
While you’re on Webster Street, make a night of it! Dine at one of the outstanding bars and restaurants, then explore the many unique retailers that make West Alameda so special. Adults (21+) head to The Fireside Lounge for DJ beats and craft drinks.
