We are so grateful to the generosity of the artist community here in the west end–and beyond–for donating their time and many talents to support the West End Arts District.
Last year, the Artbeats Benefit Concert and Silent Art Auction collectively raised almost $5000 to support our programing. We value this grassroots initiative from our local creative community. Thank you!

Join us for a delicious cocktail (or two), some joyous beats of DJ Kula Baker, and an eclectic collection of fine art at the Yard at Saltbreaker. What better way to celebrate the start of the weekend than a cocktail, art, music, good vibes, and stunning sunset mashup?
Come to simply enjoy a lovely evening and admire the art - or - you’re invited to place your bid in the Silent Art Auction for a chance to go home with a stunning new piece for your collection. Thanks to the support of a wonderful community of artists, we are excited to share a diverse selection of work by local and national artists.
Online bidding will be available, as well, and will close at the end of the evening on Friday, October 2. New pieces will be added to the auction throughout the month of September.
The Yard at Saltbreaker is the latest patio extension of the immensely popular Saltbreaker restaurant in Alameda Point. As the name suggests, we'll be outdoors, so dress for the weather. Your ticket includes one free house cocktail (or mocktail) and there is a delicious menu of bites/mains if all that admiring of art works leaves you feeling hungry.
Proceeds from the event go to support thearts programs of West End Arts District.
Call for Artist Submissions

West End Arts District invites visual artists and makers working across all media — including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, and more — to submit work for our Silent Auction Soirée this October.
This special fundraising event is a wonderful opportunity to support your local arts organization while helping us showcase the talent, creativity, and diversity of our local arts community.
Selected works will be featured on our online auction platform and included in the live exhibition at Saltbreaker on October 2. Participating artists will also receive two complimentary tickets to the soirée — one for themselves and one for a guest.
Due to space limitations, we are not able to include every submission we receive. All works will be reviewed by our curatorial team, and we are deeply grateful to every artist who offers their work in support of West End Arts District.
Please note: All submitted work should be display-ready. We will coordinate the return of any unsold work promptly after the event, with deep appreciation for your support.
