Know Before You Go

The event is outdoors and we will be moving around the space which has uneven flooring. We suggest wrapping up warm and wearing closed-toed walking shoes. During the first part of the evening, participants will travel around the various exhibits and installations, then we will gather around the stage area for the second half.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

5:30pm • DeepDIVE Installations and Partner Exhibits

6:15pm • DeepDIVE Experience

6:40pm • Creative Discussion with the Artists Led by Jeff Raz

Weather: The event will be postponed if rain is forecast. We will communicate through Eventbrite to update attendees if needed.

  • We love furry friends, but we kindly request that pets be left at home for this event.

  • ADA parking will be available at the entrance to the REAP campus. There will be low lighting levels throughout the evening and the ground is covered with base rock throughout most of the campus. We will have volunteers on hand eager to help anyone with access needs. If you would like to reach out to talk to us about your accessibility needs in advance, please email tara@westendartsdistrict.org.

  • Yes. Anyone visiting the REAP Climate Center campus must sign their waiver before their visit.

  • We will not be running a waiting list. HOWEVER, this is a free event, and with that, our experience is that there are a fair number of people who decide not to turn up at the last minute. After 5:45pm, we will allow people without tickets to fill any spaces that have not been taken.

Community Partners

You will have a chance to learn about the invaluable work of our community partners.

DeepDIVE is a visionary new performance project which invites you to step beneath the surface and into the mystery of the ocean. The full performance is planned for October 2026, blending video projection, music, and dance to celebrate the majesty of the sea.

“My great hope is that DeepDIVE will start people down the same journey that I have found myself travelling as we do this work. It starts with being drawn in by the 'mystery' and the 'majesty,' the beautiful images and magnificent animals, and then there's the desire to learn more, understand more, which opens up a million doors to stories and connections you have never imagined.”
– Tara Pilbrow, Executive Director of West End Arts District
