In July 2016 as part of Phase Zero activities for Site A Alameda Point Partners invited twenty-five members of the Bay Area Photographers Collective and the Frank Bette Center for the Arts to document the interior of three buildings within the former Naval Air Station. The artists who were granted unique access to these spaces were attracted to this project through a shared appreciation for industrial architecture and urban exploration. The Point of Transition exhibition was brought back on display as part of the City of Alameda’s Art in City Hall in June 2019.
