BAMP Sound Lab students at work

WEAD invited students from the  Bay Area Music Project Sound Lab class at Maya Lin to compose a soundscore for the Animate Alameda performance at the upcoming Waterfront Park Launch Fest.  After 'client meetings' with choreographer and festival Artistic Director Tara Pilbrow, the students set to work creating a score inspired by the waterfront park, the water, and the different materials integral to the park landscape.  The final result will be the soundscore for a dance piece performed by local dance students.
